Why use these calculators?
- Built from official sources. Every rate, allowance and threshold comes from the Inland Revenue Department, GovHK, the MPFA or the HKMA, and each page links to the exact source.
- Shows the working. You see each step – deductions, allowances, which tax method wins – not just a final number.
- Private. The maths runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored.
- Tested. The formulas are checked against the IRD's own worked examples and against the exact band edges, such as $4,000,000 and $21,739,120 for stamp duty.
- English and Traditional Chinese. Each calculator is also available in 繁體中文.
